Unique patent pending polishing tool for multifunction / rotary tools.
Not developed on a desk, but born from practical experience in the restoration field of luxury watches and jewelry.
- Very high polishing performance with high precision at the same time.
- Low-cost operation even in the professional field
- a simple polishing pad as fast changeable polishing medium (no combined medium with velcro / foam core)
- sustainable and very cost-efficient operation
Compatible with multifunction / rotary tools with small jaw chuck. ( e.g. Proxxon FBS 240, Dremel 4000 )
Speed recommendation up to 5,000 rpm !
Do not operate at higher speeds - the polishing devil attachment is made of plastic except for the stable shaft for weight optimization and weighs only about 40 grams. Nevertheless, a certain volume / weight is moved very quickly here - speeds above 5,000 rpm are therefore expressly not recommended. Some devices of the manufacturer Dremel e.g. start only at 10,000 revolutions and are thus unsuitable for the operation of this attachment! Before buying, please check whether your device can be regulated down to 5,000 revolutions or less. In addition, a small jaw chuck should be available to be able to clamp the 2.8 mm shank.
Basically you can polish almost everything with my little polishing devil :
- Watches
- jewelry
- ornamental parts
- cutlery
- coins
- Vehicle and motorcycle parts (e.g. chrome or aluminum)
- Lacquer and plexiglass surfaces
- etc.
The advantages to the typical large buffering wheels are numerous:
- Edge protection/precision due to dimensionally stable base body,
- reach angled or offset surfaces
- lower centrifugal forces and therefore safe working (also on filigree parts)
- due to the low material needs, it is worth changing the polishing medium more frequently to achieve a hologram-free mirror surface
